Family Eyecare Associates, P.C. was established in 1985 to serve the visual needs of infants, children and adults. Patients of all ages are welcome in our unique facility. Although we offer comprehensive eye examination services including examinations for eye disease, eyeglasses, and contact lenses, our specialty is with children and adults having visual difficulties that cannot be managed fully with eyeglasses or contact lenses. In 1997, Family Eyecare Associates, P.C., took two large steps to better serve its patients. First, we moved to a beautiful location at 17-10 Fair Lawn Avenue in Fair Lawn, New Jersey, with 4000 square feet. Patients remark about the comfort in our office, which complements the warm and caring nature of our staff. Second, we established The Vision and Learning Center. Elsewhere on this Website you can learn about the Center in more detail. State of the art technology is a hallmark of our practice. We are committed to equipping our office with the most advanced vision testing and therapy equipment. For example, our Marco TRS Computerized Vision Testing System not only provides a better and faster prescription, but it also allows us to test how you focus on a computer screen, and to determine your new prescription without all those "which is better, number one or number two" questions. Our Marco TRS vision system uses computers and infrared beams to help us determine what combination of eyeglasses, contact lenses, or vision therapy will best meet your visual needs. Not many offices offer this sophisticated technology. But we feel an obligation to offer the best available care to our patients. Our job is to make your vision as perfect as we can, and we take that mission seriously. You'll find the staff at Family Eyecare Associates to be knowledgeable and courteous. Dr. Press, his assistants and technicians make it a priority to keep up to date in all areas of patient care. Each year, they attend the International Vision Expo at the Javits Center in New York to take continuing education courses and stay abreast of the very latest developments in eye and vision care. |
